*Patrick was one of the founding partners of our firm until he retired at the end of 2022. He now sits as a deputy judge at the Orillia Small Claims Court.

Over the course of almost 30 years, Patrick assisted clients in the areas of family law, civil litigation, criminal law and real estate law. He litigated cases on behalf of local, national and multinational clients, and he was lead counsel on the only case in Ontario resulting in the court-ordered termination and sale of a condominium corporation. He appeared in all levels of the Ontario and Federal courts, with particular focus on real property law. Patrick graduated with Honours from Western University in London in 1987. Patrick received his law degree in 1990 from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto and was called to the bar in 1992.

As well as being an accomplished lawyer, the following are a few examples of Patrick’s involvement in the local and legal community:

• Past-President of the Orillia and District Construction Association

• Past President of the Orillia Law Association

• Past-President of the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce

We thank Patrick for his invaluable contributions to our firm and our community and we wish him well during his well-deserved retirement!
